Baby Boy's First Birthday, Cake Ideas?
I need help, I want to make a cake or cup cakes for a baby boy's first birthday. I was thinking about making a baby shaped cake, or cup cakes with baby faces, or small babies on them.

Any ideas? Tips? Advice? Ideas don't have to be baby based, they just have to be something child like for a 1 year old boy's birthday.
We recently celebrated my nephew's first birthday and my sister and I made him a big caterpillar cake. We used brightly coloured cupcakes and just layed them all out on a board in a big caterpillar shape, then added a face on the head end and "legs" all the way along. The cupcakes worked well for all the children there, as it meant they each got their own cake. We also chose to do the caterpillar as "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" is one of his favourite books.
